A thick, creamy, light and refreshing ginger green smoothie with avocado and banana.

I think after the eventful week I’ve had here on Nutrition Stripped, it was only fitting for the first recipe to share on “the new look” of Nutrition Stripped to be a green smoothie…had to. This smoothie is also perfect for all of your green holiday celebrations this St. Patrick’s Day! This Creamy Ginger Green Smoothie is perfection. It’s absolute nourishing perfection and so deliciously simple to make! I love this smoothie for breakfast, a snack, or even with a meal for a boost of those greens for added nutrition.

Alright everyone, prepare yourself for one of the most refreshing, creamy, spring-like smoothies you’ve ever tasted. Bold statement I know, but it’s that good. This is my go-to smoothie in the spring when I want something filling, but also “light” on my digestion to keep my energy levels up when I’m out and about, writing, shooting, etc. This is definitely a meal in a glass as it contains healthy fats, protein, fiber, and carbohydrates all in one lovely package. If you’re looking to make this more of a snack, simply cut the ingredients in half or save half for later!

This is also an excellent way to sneak in some serious greens for my friends who are averse to green smoothies or are looking for a kid-friendly smoothie. Plus, the squeeze of lemon juice and added ginger will help with digestion, and all those healthy fats from the avocado will keep you full, your hormones balanced, and your skin glowing.
