Mint Chocolate Chip, another variation of the signature green smoothie here at Nutrition Stripped. This one however, is great not only for breakfast but even as a late night healthy treat. When I was younger, mint chocolate chip was one of my favorite ice creams and actually is to this day. I found myself in the kitchen last week craving mint chocolate chip ice cream with none in sight, therefore I got out my trusty Vitamix and several ingredients I always have on hand and the creation was made! This satisfying smoothie punched my sweet cravings in the face (pow!) and hey summer isn’t over yet!

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you’re very familiar with the smoothies I pos or some variation of the Stripped Green Smoothie daily. Many times, you all ask what is the recipe for said smoothie? To answer in short, there is no exact recipe the majority of the time! I love having the freedom to put in whatever it is I want and let my taste buds do the measuring- I urge you do the same! You can also read more about my recipe philosophy in the About me section. Occasionally I have specific recipes for a smoothie and today is one of them- a delicious one at that! Mint Chocolate Chip is sure to please everyone, little ones included…and guess what? Greens are involved and no one will notice the taste!

Notes
Higher calorie option// add more avocado or a frozen banana.[br]Lower calorie option// use 1/4 of an avocado.[br]Nutrition Information will change if you use a different protein powder, less/more ingredients. This is a guideline

This is a dense smoothie, therefore you can cut the recipe in half and share for a snack, or make the whole thing 1 serving for a filling smoothie. As I said in the recipe, one of my favorite proteins to use with this is Vega Sport, but feel free to use whichever protein you enjoy that fits your lifestyle and needs.
